Wave spotlight: Meet Valerie Rother

Our Wave Spotlight series introduces some of the incredible, world class talent helping to make Wave great for our customers—over 3.5 million small business owners all over the world. Want to join our team? See what positions we have open, or send in your resume along with a few of your thoughts on what you can add to the team.

Meet Valerie Rother, Wave’s Director of People and Culture. Val’s husband is a stunt double, and she met him while on a flying trapeze. She is mastering the skills of raising an adorable toddler and she co-founded a charitable foundation to raise awareness for epilepsy in Canada.

Val leads the Recruiting team at Wave and she has a spot for a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, to help source top talent for hard to find roles. She understands that the best people are likely already happy in a great job and some magic is required to find incredible people to join our team.

Come join Val and the rest of the team at Wave. We’re on a mission that’s changing the world, one entrepreneur at a time.
